N30 Pharma Announces License Agreement With NitroMed, Inc.

BOULDER, Co. -- N30 Pharma (N30), a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of respiratory drugs that target endogenous s-nitrosothiols, today announced a licensing agreement with NitroMed Inc. (Nasdaq: NTMD - News) covering the respiratory use of a s-nitrosothiol drug candidate. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

S-nitrosothiols are endogenous molecules that store and transduce nitric oxide, and are critical modulators of airway and vascular smooth muscle tone, as well as having other effects. N30 is a privately held company headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.
